The Friends of SADA Christmas Party on 10 December 2025 was a truly memorable and heart‑warming evening. Families currently living in our Refuge or Safe Spaces were invited, along with former Safe Space families and service users who continue to stay connected with us.
We were incredibly grateful for the generosity of our supporters. Gratte Brothers prepared beautiful Christmas hampers for the adults, The Mayor’s Charity donated a gift for every child, and The Hill Group provided wonderful donations for families and Safe Spaces, helping us make the evening even more special.
The team fully embraced the festive spirit – Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and several superheroes joined us for the night. Santa also made a magical appearance, handing out presents to both adults and children and creating unforgettable moments for everyone.
Bringing all our families together for an evening of games, music, food, and gifts was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas, especially for children who may not have had positive festive memories in the past. Feedback from parents was filled with gratitude and appreciation. Hearing directly from the children was even more touching, including one parent who shared that this was the first party their children had ever attended.
